The date for the June reading group will be Tuesday 23rd June, at 6.30pm, upstairs in L'Attitude 51 Wine Cafe, Union Quay, Cork.
This reading group will pick up on themes from the last reading group, we are putting forward the following links between the two:
Considering the neoliberal subject in relation to the nomadic subject/multiple formations of subjectivity
The need to stop and gain a sense of the political conditions of the present in order to pursue 'sites of contestation'.
Looking towards an 'ethics of affirmation' - how might that be realised or imagined within the subject?
There is a prevalent melancholia within Berardi's and Reylea's hypothesis - how might we reframe this argument through Braidotti's 'ethics of affirmation'?
